An important deadline is approaching! Many Senior Reduced Fare permits expire on Tuesday, July 31.  Check the front of your permit for its expiration date. All Senior Reduced Fare permit cardholders with an expired permit or with a permit scheduled to expire soon, will need to re-apply.

How do you re-apply?

  • Call a RTA customer service representative at (312) 913-3110 for more information on how to renew a permit. Please be prepared to provide the ID number located on the front of your permit.
  • You may also download the appropriate Senior Application or Persons with Disabilities Application here.
  • Apply in person at one of our registration sites. Find a site near you by calling (312) 913-3110.
  • Please remember to include a copy of your government issued ID with your application such as a Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID and the Chicago CityKey card.
