RTA Executive Director Redden and Chairman Dillard Join Twitter!

RTA Executive Director Leanne Redden and Board Chairman Kirk Dillard  are joining Twitter to share their unique perspectives on the agency and what it means to help run the nation’s second-largest public transportation system.

“I talk to riders every day on Metra during my commute,” said Executive Director Redden, @LReddenRTA. “I  want to continue to share how the work of the RTA benefits riders every day through this account as well as through our blog and the agency social media accounts.”

“Twitter is a great resource for commuters and those who care about public transportation,” said Chairman Dillard, @KDillardRTA. “There’s a lot going on in transportation throughout our six-county region and across the state so this is a great way for us to speak directly to riders.”

Followers can expect Executive Director Redden and Chairman Dillard to share content about the RTA (which can be found on Twitter @RTA_Chicago), their own stories as commuters, and important updates related to public transportation in our region.
